Poetry: Green Journey

Beautiful Bridges Park, Ireland

Sprinkles of rain lite upon my face.

I embrace the day, come walk with me.

Let’s share this together.

A green journey…

Across a mossy bridge, steady your pace.

Stop. Listen! Plop. Plop. Plop.

Tiny droplets of rain.

Inhale it… those fragrances that linger in the air.

The moss, pine, and evergreens too.

It’s intoxicating to the senses.

Fresh, untainted by humanity.

Branches twisting here and there.

Wind rustling through forest leaves,

Red hawk soaring, screeching in the breeze.

I feel peace and harmony here.

Do you?
