Poetry: a Soul Reinvented

strip away parts that hurt,

the scars—peel away the layers.

just take your soul with you.

reinvent what makes you happy.

revive that contagious smile.

grab back that laughter once stolen.

find the pure and simple core,

that makes you—who you are.

amazing…a soul reinvented.
