Poetry: a Delicate Flower

it was like holding
a delicate flower
between strong fingers
to touch him,
but it was the
most beautiful thing
to see his petals fall
cause he cared.

      1. May I ask, what made you decide to offer the eBook, and did you look around at alternatives in addition to BookBaby.com? And, did they do the cover or did you provide it? I’m curious because I’ve put out a couple of downloadable e-books (last Fall), which are collections of short fiction – from my blog – pieces I thought were memorable. But I just did those using Microsoft Mac Pages (based advice from a colleague). In the future I may want to go to a more professional publication, so I was curious about your thought process! Thank you in advance.
