Poetry: Path & Me

a free verse poetry… rhyming or non-rhyming… More about forms of poetry.

It’s calling my name,

a path laden with layers of snow,

with every foot step

there’s a memory of places,

I recall and now gone.

I’ve walked this way before,

But now I must change

like the direction the wind blows.

In it, I will find the goodness

instilled within my ribcage

of this life I hold.

And I do not know of

my final destination,

but it’s a path I must discover.

  1. Loved the feel of the digital path immensely, especially the shape of the figure amidst the shadow lines. We are all on similar journeys. You expressed it nicely. ❤
