Poetry: Preying Canvas

a free verse poetry… rhyming or non-rhyming… More about forms of poetry.

~ * ~

blue ink runs across landscape-rippled circles fading

into words stranded in grey dreams.

a solitary feathery call moves swiftly

over tall standing guardians.

a crescent moon splatter’s light

upon dreamers with inks pens of the night.

whistling wind mutters lyrics

upon sleeping faces.

shadows give words

to the strangers listening

furry beast comes for the feasting

on preying canvas.
