Poetry: Digital Soul

Like a water lilly

a free verse poetry… rhyming or non-rhyming… More about forms of poetry.

She isn’t anything you’d expect a
flower like her to be.
She was like a single water-lily
standing among floating boats.
A rare soul in a digital pond of debris,
offering color in the downpour of life.
The kind of woman you’d love until
your petals wilt and fall to the floor.
