Poetry: Petals and Thorns

Petals and scars…

a free verse poetry… rhyming or non-rhyming… More about forms of poetry.

All your frozen scars and mine,
ignite our fire and ice.
This love is new and old over time,
and just like that,
another day is a fresh start.
Like little buds opening,
waiting for kisses from the morning sun.
You are all for me and I for you.
A beautiful rose of petals and thorns.
I wouldn’t have it any other way.
