Poetry: Taming Wildflowers

…The wild flower, a native to the ever-changing elements. A free verse form and a digital art piece to inspire words as colorful and bountiful as the wild flower.

Oh, Wildflower!
How they dare to try to tame you.
How you fight off storms,
just to stand again and show
your flirty, colorful blossoms.
And when the sun has risen,
caressing its warmth around
your petals and stems,
you only look to the dragonfly,
who’s drawn to your beauty
and innocence instead.
