Haiku: Visual Layers

…So much color. So many layers…Found this picture of this unique flower. Reminded me of how we also have so many facets of our lives. I put my little creativity spin on it and some cool artistic effects. Hope you enjoy the digital art piece and a triple haiku.

Upon the Surface…And underneath there are stories to be told.

Upon the surface,
lies a beautiful disguise,
polished in color.

Within each layer,
are stories you’ll never see.
Scars grooved upon skin.

Only visible
through the tears—fell upon flesh.
Behind blues of eyes.

  1. You have wonderful control over your verse, dear Poetess. And I really like “Behind blues of eyes”. An excellent use of poetic license. ❤

  2. Dear Linda,

    Also very beautiful 🙂

But the person behind it who has created it
    must be also beautiful 🙂
    Thanks, dear Linda
