Poetry: Exposed

…Is it the heart grows fonder of love…When distance binds them under the darkness of night, and stars glitter of their longing… A free verse poetry and digital art piece left for those who long for the enjoyment of reading poems.

Exposed is the longing…
We hold darkness and stars
in the palm of hands.
Dreams drift above
pillow tops like wispy clouds.
And distance binds hearts
To this beautiful silence.
A never ending story of love.

  1. Dear Linda,

    We are like burst love
    with our longing
    to collect fragments
    to put them together
    as one picture
    beyond time and space
    with our mind trying
to copy it – in vain
    as the original is
in the temple of our heart
    seat of evergreen happiness
    stretching out our hands
    for reaching the stars
    breathing infinity
in the silence of our thoughts

    Thanks for sharing, dear Linda
    – these thoughts came just to my mind
    when reading your lovely poem

    All the best
    Didi
