  1. Hi I’m Amanda or Mandi, whatever you prefer to call me. My big is http://www.mandibelle16.wirdpress.com.

In general my blog is a place I participate in different prompts writing fiction and nonfiction and a lot poetry lately due to NaPoWriMo and in response to prompts and sometimes because I have something to write — just to say

I also use my blog to develop larger ideas from it for short stories and poetry to submit to different sites and online literary magazines. You can find my poetry and short stories on http://www.spillwords.com, http://www.sicklitmagazine.com, Silver Bell Press, and Her Heart poetry on Instagram.

On Wattpad you find my ever developing novel a paranormal romance called ‘ How Was Last Night?’ By A.M. Wilson and my user is @mandibelle16. Any kind of constructive criticism or thoughts are always welcome and Wattpad is an amazing platform for this because comments can be made on each Chapter.

As well on my blog, my nonfiction includes biweekly quote selections, beauty reviews, beauty boxes, some fashion, interior design or decorating pieces, and writer or blogger interviewes on a biweekly schedule!

If you would like to be interviewed as a writer/blogger or if you are someone blogging for a cause, feel free to contact me on the contact page at the top of my blog!

    Thank you !

  18. Hello there! I’m Tom Grice, how are you? I was very pleased to see you visit my page and read my most recent post! I write and run the blog: thewitandword.wordpress.com and I would love to connect with more writers so that more art may be created and shared. ‘The Wit and Word’ is a blog I use to upload my poetry, which ranges from Wilfred Owen style inspired war poems, to philosophy, observational work and satire – with some fantastical endeavors mixed in! Hopefully it does indeed shine a light on the things we tend to look away from during our everyday lives like I intend it to.
To all writers and creative minds out there – collaborative projects are always welcome! Stop by and say hello!

    Thank you so much,
    All the best,

  19. Hi everyone, I feel a bit out of my league commenting here, as I don’t have any books in the works, and have really just started submitting poems to publications recently. My name is Kendall Lynn, and you can find poetry and some personal stories here,

I would like to connect with people who interact with others’ work, as I am not merely fishing for “likes.” I really want to improve and work towards my FIRST publication. So if anything on my page happens to speak to you or you think we have similar drives, please drop me a message! I would love more interaction on WP, thank you! 😀

  26. Just wondering if anyone can give me some tips on how to get more interactions. I haven’t had much luck getting comments. Does it just come with time?

    Liked by 1 person

    • I usually just go and like people blog post and make some comments every day

      Liked by 2 people

    • I started blogging about seven years ago. Back then we had blogging buddies who shared the same interests and we supported each other with comments… not just likes. Unfortunately, I lost touch with most of them when I took a break from blogging for several years to become an administrator on one of the top writing forums. I’ve recently come back into blogging and there seems less community spirit. A fellow blogger pointed me to some of the blogging challenges so I am going to try those.

      • Thats great. Reaching out to other communities definitely helps.

      • Excellent suggestions. I’m already pretty into checking out and commenting on others blogs so its nice to know I’m on the right track. Challenges are something I would like to try out. They’ll probably give me some inspiration since I would like to write more than just beauty product reviews. What are some of the blogging challenges? How do I look into that?

  31. Hello! Happy to meet some fellow wordsmiths. I am a word-weaver, truth seeker, heartbreaker, heart keeper, wandering daydreamer. I seek others who have souls that look like mine, feel like mine, and love like mine. My poems and essays are my way of getting out the heaviness that lives in my heart, and also the spirit of joy that flows from fingers to keyboard.

  32. Hello All. I am KD Ryan.

I have been writing blog posts for a long time but this is my first blog, recently created.

I am learning as I go and am enjoying seeing what everyone is doing. Many creative minds!

Linda, I especially appreciated your descriptions of various Haiku-like poetry options. THe differences seem subtle; I’ll have to study it!

    Peace, KD

  33. Good day, Linda. My name is Rob. Here’s the link to my blog, “Broken People – Mended Spirits”: :

I’ve dealt with chronic pain, anger and depression for many years, and am simply trying to make sense of it all, while vowing to never give up.

    • Hi Rob! Nice to meet you! I totally have been there with you. I’m sure we could share many struggles and many joys.

      • If you feel so inclined, my son, Trey, and I published a poetry book on Smashwords in 2012, which can be downloaded for free, once you set up a free account with them (that’s the only way we could figure out how to “publish” the book). Trey was 12-years-old when we published the book, and had already been writing for three years. He’s a bit embarrassed about it now, as his writing has greatly improved, but I always remind him, his writing was amazing considering his age, and I’m extremely proud of him. The book is called, “I Bleed Dark – Poems About Pain, Life, Heavy Metal and Jesus Christ,” and this is the WIX website link I set up for the book: http://robweddle1.wixsite.com/ibleeddark. I’m hoping to publish it someday “for reals,” as my son is fond of saying.

I started the blog as a test run to be a hobby and I fell in love. I didn’t realize how much I enjoy writing. I may not be the best at it but the enjoyment I get is what matters. I also love the community that comes along with it.
I write about my life experiences- love, pain, heartbreak, illness, etc- as well as anything I witness or may just feel inside. I hope you will enjoy!
