Nature is Her House

Ravishing, of crimson red.
She stood there.
Slats of fences held her
Like bars of a prison.
I could only see a part of her.
She was wild and vigorous.
Nature is her house
within a house.
Green branches protected beauty.
Like soldiers guarding a castle.
A breeze teased forcing
a sway and dance.
A silent melody played.
Blue sky and floating clouds
were her audiences.
But so was I.

  1. Linda, this is gorgeous. I tried to reblog this but in doing so I pulled all the information from your page along with it. It would be an easier reblog if you broke this down into your poem, pic, and “things to do” was on a different post.
Love you words and your work! ❤
