In this daily haiku, “Standing Green.”
I find I long for the noises in standing green. Hidden in places I have to search for, longing for the whispering sounds of the breeze, and the music of trees brushing up against one another. Eerie calming music.
A songbirds lullaby’s carried in the wind. The soothing sound of calm, away from the horns, voices, phones, etc. Do you find yourself aching for the solitude of self, of quiet, where you can hear your thoughts chasing each other? I do. I need it. It energizes the whole of me, You?
